1.Argon arc welding:Argon arc welding is a welding technique that uses argon gas as a shielding gas. Also known as argon gas shielded welding. It is to apply argon shielding gas around the arc welding area to isolate the air outside the welding area and prevent oxidation of the welding area.
2.Hand arc welding: It is a manually operated welding method that uses the heat generated by the arc to melt and weld the electrode. It has the characteristics of convenience and flexibility, good welding quality, and is suitable for welding all positions. Mainly used for precision welding of metal shapes.
3.Carbon dioxide Arc welding:The shielding gas for carbon dioxide gas shielded arc welding is carbon dioxide (sometimes a mixture of CO2+Ar), mainly used for manual welding. Due to the special influence of the thermophysical properties of carbon dioxide gas, when using conventional welding power sources, it is impossible to form a balanced axial free transition of the molten metal at the end of the welding wire. Short circuits and droplet necking and bursting are usually required, therefore, compared to free transition in MIG welding, there is more spatter. But if high-quality welding machines are used and the parameters are selected appropriately, a very stable welding process can be obtained, minimizing splashing. Due to the low price of the protective gas used, the weld seam is well formed when using short-circuit transfer, and the use of welding wires containing deoxidizers can obtain high-quality welded joints without internal defects. Therefore, this welding method has become one of the most important welding methods for ferrous metal materials.
4.Aluminum alloy welding:The process of welding aluminum alloy materials. Aluminum alloy has high strength and light weight. The main welding processes are manual MIG welding (melt inert gas shielded welding) and automatic MIG welding, including the base material, welding wire, shielding gas, and welding equipment. The metal properties of aluminum alloys determine that only aluminum welding rods can be used during welding, and the welding material can only be aluminum.
